‘Poignantly exploring a nation’s upheaval through one family’s search for answers,’ I’m Still Here opens in 1970 in Rio de Janeiro when we meet Eunice, her husband, Rubens, a former congressman, and their five children in a beachfront home full of friends and laughter. This changes when men with guns arrive at the door and take Rubens away. Who they are and where he has been taken remain a mystery.
